Independent media agency Medialab has appointed Jasleen Carroll as its first Head of AI and Innovation.
Carroll joins the agency from fellow independent shop Anything is Possible, where she was formerly director of AI and product.
In the role, Carroll will report to Medialab’s chief data officer Will Davis and be responsible for identifying and fast-tracking future use cases for AI and turning them into practical solutions that drive effectiveness and commercial outcomes for clients.
Davis said: “I’m immensely proud of our AI journey so far – our adoption and usage is already double the industry average. However, our focus has always been to cut through the hype and deliver meaningful value. Jasleen brings a combination of strategic thinking, technical expertise and practical experience needed to turn AI’s potential into real solutions that make a genuine difference for our people and our clients.”
Carroll has more than a decade of experience across the digital, data, and technology sectors, having previously worked at AI-focused marketing transformation company Push Group.
Her various roles at Push Group included three years leading its AdInvestor team, which specialises in helping SMEs with their performance marketing.
Carroll added: “I’m thrilled to be joining Medialab at a time when there’s so much opportunity to rethink how AI can support the way we work. The agency already has an incredibly strong foundation, and I’m excited to collaborate with teams across the business to explore practical applications of AI that enhance creativity, improve efficiency and ultimately help deliver even stronger outcomes for our clients.”
