CATHERINE FALLA

Head of HR

Catherine joined Medialab in 2020 to head up the company’s HR and Recruitment department. Her role as Head of HR is to lead all things people related, and above all, ensuring we weave our values and unique family culture into everything we do, with a focus on retaining and growing our brilliant, talented team.

Catherine has over 16 years of experience working in the creative, advertising and media industries and has led talent teams in large network agencies such as WPP’s Grey London and run HR for leading independent marketing agencies such as iCrossing and The Engine Group.

FELICITY REID

Client Operations Director

Felicity first joined Medialab as a Media Assistant 10+ years ago, progressing through the agency, she now oversees the operations of all our client teams.

Her previous role as Client Managing Director, saw her work with multiple charity clients, including National Trust, Guide Dogs and Royal British Legion as well as commercial clients such as Laithwaites Wines and Harry’s.

One of Felicity’s proudest Medialab moments to date is winning the DMA Gold Award for Best Customer Acquisition in 2017 for her team’s work with the National Trust.

DAN MARSHALL

Business Director

Dan has been with Medialab since 2018, he effectively leads major accounts such as SunLife.
 
At Medialab, Dan continues to drive media strategy and strengthen client relationships, ensuring the best results are always achieved.

Will Davis

CHIEF DATA OFFICER

Will is the founder of our granular, data-driven approach to media planning and buying.

He led the development of our digital and broadcast offering and major partner wins including National Trust, Guide Dogs and ClearScore.

Will is now Medialab’s Chief Data Officer where he oversees our Apollo platform and team which is the embodiment of his data driven vision.

Will is passionate about helping clients achieve great results and helping his team flourish in their roles.

JESS TALBOT

Head of Planning

Jess joined Medialab at the beginning of October 2023. Prior to this, Jess worked at Initiative where she was the planning lead for Converse, Bupa and Salesforce. As part of her background in media planning, Jess has led internal teams, guided clients and galvanised partner agencies across a variety of categories and well-known brands such as M&S, Audi, Porsche and Esteé Lauder Companies, amongst others. As Head of Planning, Jess’ role is to lead the agencies media planning output, driving creative, effective, and integrated cross-channels plans that deliver on client objectives.

ALEX KIRK

Managing Director

As one of the co-founders of Medialab in 2005, Alex has always been at the forefront of the development and growth of the business. As Managing Director, Alex remains close to the action with the team, bringing his passion for delivering brilliant service and transformative results to our clients.

STEVE PARKER

Executive Director

As Executive Director at Medialab, Steve builds and maintains strong, transparent media owner partnerships, and supports across a number of different client accounts.

Steve had a 20 year career within Publicis Groupe, where he rose to co-CEO at Starcom Media Group UK before relocating to Dubai to help create Publicis Media as CEO of Middle East & North Africa.

With a track record of new business success and developing digital based performance marketing units, he is a highly respected leader within the media industry.

GEORGIA CUNNINGHAM

Business Director

Georgia joined Medialab in 2018 and currently works as a Business Director within one of our client planning teams. With over 6 years’ experience across Financial Services, Charities and Retail Georgia heads up the strategy of some of our key accounts including SunLife, Zopa, Age UK and Alzheimer’s Research.

As a planner she has experience across offline and online channels, but specialises in digital marketing helping to continue to grow Medialab’s digital clients.

PAUL WARD

Group Business Director

Paul joined Medialab as Business Director in July 2023, bringing over ten years of experience, in media strategy, planning and implementation. He has worked at both network and independant media agencies spanning a variety of sectors including financial services, e-commerce and retail.
 
At Medialab, Paul works closely with our client partners to shape the strategic media direction across a number verticals.

ANTHONY PEY

Head of Marketing Effectiveness

With 15 years’ experience working across a number of verticals, most recently at modelling and data measurement consultancy Data2Decisions, Anthony joined Medialab as Head of Marketing Effectiveness in 2021. He leads our expanding data science and econometric modelling division which is ultimately responsible for driving growth for our client partners.

SUZY JORDAN

Chief Client Officer

Suzy joined in 2019 to continue to develop Medialab’s business development strategy and deliver successful outcomes for our client partners. She has over 20 years’ experience in media agency and media owner organisations, such as Mirror Group, Exterion Media, Mindshare and Carat. Suzy has worked in roles across Client Leadership, Business Development, Insights and Commercial Strategy, with experience of a number of categories including FMCG, charity, Retail and Financial Services.

ALF COWAN

Head of Charity

 
As our newly appointed Head of Charity, having previously worked as a Business Director, Alf is responsible for channelling his expertise to provide thought leadership, strategic and consultative services for our charity partners.
 
He leads some of our key charity client accounts, including Save the Children and RNLI.
 
Alf has over 19 years of experience in online and offline marketing in the charity sector, including in-house marketing roles at Friends of the Earth and Shelter.

BEN ENNIS

Chief Operating Officer

As one of the founding members of Medialab, Ben has been a driving force in helping to grow the agency and ensure we always practice what we preach.

His role of COO involves wearing a few hats. However, his time is largely spent focusing on ensuring the wheels of Medialab keep turning, being responsible for areas including HR, client and supplier commercial contracts, finance, data protection and information security.

Fun Fact: Ben presented 3 episodes of a TV show on Channel 4 back in 1990 called ‘Early Bird’ which went out on Sunday mornings.

CHARLES BATCHELOR

Client Managing Director

Client Managing Director Charles joined Medialab in 2012, as a Senior Account Executive, and has progressed through the agency to now lead one of the client teams.
 
With the support of his team, he delivers operational and strategic leadership for his clients through innovative and integrated media campaigns, informed by data and insights.
 
He leads some of Medialab’s key client accounts across Charity, Financial Services and Retail sectors, including SunLife, Standard Life, Alzheimer’s Society and Emma Sleep.

MATTHEW SEMPLE

Client Managing Director

Matt is one of Medialab’s Client Managing Directors, where he oversees one of our client planning teams, who are responsible for overall strategy, media planning, executing campaigns, and ensuring their success through ongoing optimisation. Matt leads several key client accounts, including notable names like ClearScore, Age UK, Hovis, and Smile Train.

With a wealth of experience in media planning, Matt adopts a media-neutral approach, prioritising the most effective strategies for each client’s needs. His commitment to the Medialab ethos emphasises the importance of driving results for our clients, aiming for both short term impact and delivering long-term growth.

Fun Fact:  At university, Matt set up a charity called ‘Art Angels’ which was about teaching teenagers about commercial art and helping to unlock opportunities for them in the creative arts sector.

JAMES TAYLOR

Head of Offline Planning

Having joined us in 2014, our Head of Offline Planning James works across our account teams to ensure our clients receive the very best offline service from Medialab.
He works with a wide range of clients including RNLI, St Mungo’s and Dogs Trust and and is a key member of our DMA Gold Award-winning National Trust account team.
James has over 30 years’ experience in media planning with specialist experience in offline channel planning.

STEVE VENES

Broadcast Director

Steve joined Medialab in 2017 to head up our broadcast division and continues to evolve our AV offering for clients.

With over 40 years’ experience, he’s regarded as one of the most experienced and knowledgeable TV buyers in the industry. Steve never fails to get the best in market deals for clients.

Prior to joining Medialab he was at JAA for 22 years, before that he worked at a senior level at Mindshare, MediaVest, McCanns and the original Media Independent MBS.

Steve’s worked across the majority of advertising sectors and has managed some of the UK’s biggest TV accounts, including Ford, Tesco and Guinness as well as over 40 charity clients.

JANE POWER

Client Managing Director

Jane joined Medialab in June 2024 as a Client Managing Director, delivering integrated brand and acquisition campaigns, working with multiple clients including National Trust, Guide Dogs, Laithwaites Wines and Marie Curie.

KRISHAN MAJITHIA

Head of Social

Krishan is Medialab’s Head of Social, heading up social best practice and innovations across Medialab’s clients. He employs a data-first approach across social platforms, to help drive future-proof growth across brand and performance.
 
Previously, Krishan worked as an Account Director at both Mindshare and Wavemaker, working with brands such as Dyson, General Mills and Morrisons, within both the social and display space. He has also worked on strategic projects for H&M, Deliveroo and Booking.com helping shape strategy across paid, owned and earned.

Fun Fact: Krishan has completed his FA coaching badges and worked as an Academy Scout. He also enjoys performing spoken word, and has performed at several events, including a feature at Battersea Arts Centre.

DAVID RUDDLE

Business Director

David has been a Business Director at Medialab since 2019, with seven years of media planning and strategy. Starting as an Account Manager at All Response Media, he now runs clients accounts such as Marie Curie and Guide Dogs.
 
His strategic skills and leadership have greatly advanced his clients’ achievements, highlighting his dedication to media excellence.

LISA MEIKLEJOHN

Director of Digital Strategy & Development

Lisa Meiklejohn is Medialab’s Director of Digital Strategy and Development, where she employs her extensive experience within multiple digital channels across brand, performance and commerce, to help shape Medialab’s strategic proposition. Previously at Essence, Lisa was Business Director on the L’Oreal account and Digital Activation Director. 

NICK PARKER

Integration Director

Nick joined Medialab in 2018 to head up our brand division. He works with our clients to integrate brand activity and direct response and support them both in the short and long-term.

Nick has over 20 years’ experience in senior agency and client-side roles including media agency Mindshare, creative agencies AMV and DDB London, Bulldog Skincare for Men and Selfridges. He’s worked on some of the best-loved brands in the UK, from Marmite and Heinz to National Trust and first direct.

ADAM CUNNINGTON

Head of Data & Engineering

Previously Engineering Leader for WPP Choreograph’s Performance & Analytics division (formerly 2Sixty, Essence), Adam brings a software engineering background, a wealth specialist skills and data analytics expertise to Medialab.
 
Adam oversees our engineering & analytics teams and drives the development of Apollo, Medialab’s marketing intelligence platform.

ELEANOR HILL

Digital Performance Director

Elle is one of our lockdown joiners. As Director of Digital Performance she heads up our digital enabler team, helping to drive our digital growth and advancing our strategy.

Elle has had a varied digital career, starting in PPC at Merkle | Periscopix before heading to Zenith where she worked across many large clients such as Aviva, Mercedes, Next and Oracle. She then went to work for Dragons Den star Touker Suleyman where she was Head of Marketing for Hawes & Curtis and consulting on the startups that made it through the show.

HARRY DARLINGTON

Strategy Director

Harry joined Medialab as Strategy Director in April 2024, bringing over ten years of strategic experience, within the retail, automotive, entertainment and travel industries.

At Medialab, Harry works closely with our client teams, using his knowledge to plan and activate campaigns that help to build a clients’ business.

GEORGE GWILLIAM

Business Director

George has worked at Medialab for over 4 years and currently works as a Business Director, working with a number of our key clients, including Alzheimer’s Society, Battersea and St Mungos. He has over 13 years of experience at independent media agencies working across a range of client sectors.

He works across the full spectrum of media planning from long term brand building and immediate direct response delivering effectiveness in all areas.

JON MANNING

Director of Advanced TV

Jon Manning has been leading the charge in Advanced TV at Medialab since December 2023. With over 15 years in TV buying he has a known for his deep understanding of the everchanging landscape.
 
He expertly combines classic TV advertising with the latest approaches, driving the evolution of media investments.

Partnerships Director

Mattie joined Medialab in July 2024 as our Partnerships Director.

In her role, Mattie works alongside our client teams to help develop and manage relationships with our key partners and clients, as well as working to identify new opportunities for growth and collaboration.

JIM BRIGDEN

Executive Director, Digital

Jim joined Medialab in June 2024, in a exciting new role for the Board, as Executive Director of Digital.

With 25 years of experience in the media industry and having led several iconic businesses to growth and exit (including Brainlabs, I Spy, The Search Works and Overture), Jim brings a wide variety of skills to his role, working alongside the digital team.

MIKE HALL

Head of Retention

Mike has over a decade of experience leading teams to deliver customer lifecycle strategies, customer engagement, CRM and marketing automation solutions across multiple sectors, including automotive, financial services, retail, healthcare, and the music industry.

Mike supports clients with by developing best-in-class customer journeys and eCRM strategies which support their retention strategies.

Business Director

Throughout his career, John has driven consistent year-on-year growth for clients such as MG and led multi-channel campaigns for brands like E.ON Next and Greene King. His expertise in brand & performance media is central to advancing Medialab’s commitment to data-driven success. 

Mike supports clients with by developing best-in-class customer journeys and eCRM strategies which support their retention strategies.

AV Business Director

Fiona is Medialab’s AV Business Director, leveraging over ten years of expertise in the strategic planning and execution of TV, VoD, and cinema campaigns.

With experience of working with major accounts – Volkswagen, Virgin and L’Oreal – Fiona leads Medialab’s TV offerings, delivering best-in-class media solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client.

TOM HOWES

Head of Search

Tom brings 11+ years of experience to Medialab, having most recently worked for network agency, Dentsu. Throughout his career, Tom has worked on prestigious accounts such as Emirates, Burberry, and Direct Line Group, spearheading initiatives to integrate PPC and SEO into a unified strategy.

His extensive expertise strengthens Medialab’s digital capabilities, enabling our teams to deliver outstanding solutions tailored to our diverse range of clients.
