WWF has appointed Medialab as its UK media planning and buying agency following a competitive pitch process.
Incumbent Carat UK also pitched for the account.
Medialab has been working with the conservation charity since 2021, managing the media strategy, planning and buying for WWF’s events and fundraising initiatives.
The independent agency has been tasked with tasks such as driving acquisition ROI, increasing brand reach and supporting cross-team integration.
Marcus Orme, chief executive and co-founder of Medialab, said: “To be trusted to help increase the reach and impact of such an iconic, global force for good is a real privilege, and one that we take very seriously. We’re thrilled to be WWF’s partner for growth and are excited for the work ahead.”
WWF has previously worked with Uncommon Creative Studio on its creative output, most recently releasing “A prescription for nature”, which urged people to get outside to aid their mental health.
Michael Dent, executive director of supporter income and engagement at WWF, said that the agency stood out for their “passion, sector expertise and understanding. We’re looking forward to seeing the impact of our partnership unfold.”
