Monese, the European mobile banking service, has appointed Medialab to support the company in launching its first TV campaign this November. Monese is a mobile app alternative to banks, with an account that can be opened quickly and easily. With Monese customers can open a free account with no credit checks; top up in cash, by card or bank transfer; budget spending and set up saving pots, and send money abroad at great rates.
Monese was launched by Norris Koppel in 2015, after his first-hand experience of trying to open a bank account in another country. Since its launch, millions of people have signed up to Monese. This TV launch has been devised with Medialab to test the channel and inform Monese’s broader growth strategy and ambitions for 2021 and beyond. The campaign launched on Monday 23rd November and will run for an initial two weeks with an offer of 10% cashback on bills for new customers.
