Medialab is one of the fastest growing independent data marketing partnerships in the UK, offering media, marketing, digital and data services to a wide variety of clients.  We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Paid Search (PPC) Executive to join one of our fast paced, growing client teams. We’re a team of 80 (and growing), based near Oxford Circus (although we are all working from home at the moment, due to Covid-19).

As Senior Paid Search Senior Executive at Medialab, you will report directly to the Digital Manager. Working within the Paid Search accounts the key priority will be to optimize the accounts to ensure that client objectives are met whilst also working closely with the clients to understand their future aims & objectives. The ideal candidate will have successfully run significant Paid Search campaigns and have a thorough understanding of the latest best practice. Knowledge of other channels is also desirable to allow Paid Search to be part of a wider, holistic strategy.

Responsibilities:

Media planning and administration

  • Attend campaign briefing meetings and take detailed meeting notes for follow up
  • Responsible for the creation of campaign schedules and timeline documents
  • Collation of relevant historic campaign data and insight for Account Managers
  • Production of purchase order docs and delivery of confirmations to media owners
  • Support senior managers and directors with implementation of the media strategy and project management of campaign activity
  • Timely and accurate invoicing of projects once deployed
  • Own the day-to-day administration, finance process and billing of campaigns
  • In charge of dissemination of campaign reports to senior team in a regular and timely manner
  • Support Account Managers with production of end of campaign review documents.

Campaign operations

  • Set up the necessary platform access for campaign implementation
  • Set up and test tracking codes, placing test orders
  • Check creative meets the required specifications and liaise with creative resource to make any adjustments if required
  • Create and manage tracking, data export and results documents
  • Manage campaign launches and roll-out, ensuring smooth set up and delivery and manage performance against agreed KPIs
  • Effectively manage your designated campaigns and ensure ongoing and timely optimisation is delivered and constantly looking for opportunities to improve performance
  • Ad campaign set up, including budget level and targeting. Assist with performance analysis, internal data maintenance, troubleshooting and solution development for your designated campaigns
  • Weekly reporting to the client on performance with the Account Manager

Client administration

  • Organisation of client meetings and preparation
  • Prompt delivery of action points to account team following client meetings
  • Maintain planning schedules, client folders and documents, reporting to internal management teams
  • Responsible for day-to-day liaison with client contacts, ensuring clients have access to regular support
  • Prepare competitor reports and industry insight as directed by management.

  • 12+ months experience of Paid Search
  • Google Ads certified
  • Microsoft Ads Certified
  • Ability to interpret large sets of data
  • High degree of literacy & numeracy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to granularly look at data
  • Client communication skills
