Medialab is a unique independent data marketing partnership and the fastest growing company in the Top 50 Media Agencies, in Campaign Magazine’s ‘School Report’ 2021. Offering media, marketing, digital and data services to a wide variety of clients, we’re a team of 80 (and growing), based near Oxford Circus (although we are all working from home at the moment, due to Covid-19).

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Paid Search Executive to join one of our fast paced, growing client teams. You will primarily manage and report back on PPC campaigns, working with your wider Client team to manage activity across the full range of media channels including TV, Facebook, Display and Offline channel. With the opportunity to develop your experience in other digital channels over time.

You will also have regular contact with several client-partners, running though weekly optimisation recommendations and attending meetings. You will be part of a close-knit and friendly team who share results and celebrate success together.

Media planning and administration

  • Attend campaign briefing meetings and take detailed meeting notes for follow up.
  • Responsible for input into campaign schedules and timeline documents.
  • Collation of relevant historic campaign data and insight for Account Managers.
  • Support senior managers and directors with implementation of the media strategy and project management of campaign activity, particularly on search but also paid social & display.
  • In charge of dissemination of campaign reports to senior team in a regular and timely manner.
  • Support Account Managers with production of end of campaign review documents.

Campaign operations

  • Set up the necessary platform access for campaign implementation.
  • Create and manage tracking, data export and results documents.
  • Implementation of tracking in Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics.
  • Development and launch of A/B testing to drive increase conversion performance.
  • Effectively manage your designated campaigns and ensure ongoing and timely optimisation is delivered and constantly looking for opportunities to improve performance.

Client administration

  • Prompt delivery of action points to account team following client meetings.
  • Maintain planning schedules, client folders and documents, reporting to internal management teams.
  • Responsible for day-to-day liaison with client contacts, ensuring clients have access to regular support.

Skills:

Required skills

  • Some experience of working on Paid Search advertising
  • Google Ads and Microsoft Ads certified
  • Some experience working in an agency environment
  • Ability to interpret large sets of data
  • High degree of literacy & numeracy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail

Desired skills

  • Knowledge of Search Ads 360, Google Analytics, and other web analytics packages
  • Understanding of how Paid Search interacts with other channels
  • Google Campaign Manager
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Knowledge of Charity Industry
