We are looking for an inquisitive, articulate, numerate and above all eager placement student to support the wider team in improving campaign performance and the understanding of consumer behaviour gained through the analysis of client data.

The team are young, fun and not afraid of hard-work and over-delivering on client expectations – and you’ll need to be part of this ethos.

You will be part of the growing Datalab team of data specialists within Medialab.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Creating, maintaining and patching of data pipelines
  • Develop automated data processes using Python and SQL
  • Creating solutions to ingest new data, structured or otherwise, into our development environment
  • Set-up and maintain media dashboard reports in our Apollo technology.
  • Undertake regular analysis and reporting for retained clients.
  • Support the account management and planning teams across all facets of campaign measurement across media channels.
  • Working with the Datalab team and other senior business stakeholders to develop analytical propositions.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Highly numerate undergraduate studying a STEM degree that involves programming
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Programming experience, SQL and Python preferred
  • Experience of data visualisation tools like Tableau/Qlik/Power-BI/Google Data Studio would be useful but not essential
  • Understanding the concept tidy, structured data
  • Understanding of ETL processes
  • Strong data manipulation skills and a keen eye for detail and auditing
  • Good prioritisation and communication skills
