Estonia Post reports that its direct mail sales have grown 19 per cent compared to 2010 – and consumer survey shows that a third of Estonians now make a purchase decision based on direct mailers. The use of video content in ads increases engagement and positively affects the brand, a study by MediaMind shows. It analysed 24,000 creatives with more than 12 billion impressions served in the US between July and December 2011. The growing number of Internet users in Brazil and the increasing time they spend online continues to attract investment in online advertising. According to 2012 statistics from IBOPE Nielsen Online, the number of advertisers in the South American country using online display ads increased nearly 40 per cent, year-on-year. The total number of online campaigns grew by 39 per cent.
